Answers before you ask
How much does orthodontic treatment cost?
Costs vary depending on your case and the type of treatment you choose. In Canada, comprehensive treatment commonly ranges from around $3,000 to $7,000. Your exact estimate is confirmed at your free consultation, and flexible monthly payment plans are available.
When should my child first see an orthodontist?
The Canadian and American Associations of Orthodontists recommend a first check-up around age 7. This doesn’t usually mean immediate treatment — often it simply means monitoring growth so we can act at the right time if needed.
Am I too old for braces?
There’s no age limit for orthodontic treatment. Adults are a growing share of orthodontic patients, and discreet options like Invisalign and ceramic braces make treatment easy to fit into professional life.
Do braces or aligners hurt?
It’s normal to feel some soreness in the first few days after braces are placed or adjusted, or when starting a new set of aligners. This typically eases within one to two weeks as you adjust, and we’ll share tips to keep you comfortable.
Can I still eat normally?
With clear aligners you simply remove them to eat and drink. With braces, most foods are fine, though it’s best to avoid very hard or sticky items like hard candy and popcorn kernels. We’ll give you a simple list at your appointment.
How often will I come in?
Most patients visit roughly every 4 to 6 weeks for adjustments and check-ins, though the exact schedule depends on your treatment plan.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes. If it’s more convenient to start from home, you can book a virtual consultation. Walk-ins are also welcome, and no referral is required to see us.
